The theme of our contest “Moments of Joy: Living in Harmony with Landscapes and Trees” invites participants to discover our urban green spaces. These include parks and pocket spaces, harbourfronts and promenades, quality roadside sitting-out areas, and vegetated riversides. By immersing themselves in these captivating blue-green resources, participants will have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of nature. We welcome participants to submit their creative works under three themes, each designed to explore the unique aesthetics of diverse landscapes.
Urban forests significantly enhance our outdoor living spaces. In an effort to promote a healthy lifestyle and strengthen social cohesion, we encourage citizens to venture out and explore our quality green spaces, fostering a greater appreciation of our urban forests.
Urban forests play a vital role in mitigating soil erosion and fostering biodiversity. By thoughtfully integrating our blue resources, such as water bodies and drainage channels, with more green assets, including vegetation and open spaces, we can substantially boost the resilience of our city!
Trees, with diverse sizes and forms, play a pivotal role in shaping the dynamic panorama of our cityscape. Besides contributing the aesthetic greenery in the urban, the trees also enhance air quality and serve as tranquil refuges and habitats for various wildlife species.
